Abram received the farm in Donegal Township, Lancaster County, but was required by the will to pay an amount representing the value of the farm which was over his share of the inheritance to the estate. In 1824, he was kicked severely in the abdomen while working with an ill-tempered horse and died. He was survived by his widow and three sons.
One source listed her death as 1888.
He was a miller by trade. He was taxed at Donegal in 1771 to 178 and 1782 and 1783. He later lived a Manheim, Lancaster Co. He moved to Franklin Co., PA. and died in Chambersbrug, Franklin Co., PA. All of his children are by his first wife.
