Christian Stauffer

He lived at Donegal in 1769. He was taxed at Warwick from 1778 to 1801. Sources disagree on where Christian and Anna are buried. One source, entered under Christian's name, lists the burial as being in the Stauffer Cemetery. The source for Anna lists her as buried in the Zartman farm adjoining Zartman Mill.

Bishop Peter Eby

Peter was the great Mennonite bishop of the Pequea who farmed one mile west of Gap by Herr's Mill.
Irvin David Hess states: "He is referred to in the Biographical History of Lancaster History Alex. Harris (Reprint) pg. 179 as married to Margaret Hess, no date of marriage shown. He died in 1843, age 78, was born about 1765."
